Disintegration of used bank notes
In 1994 KV Connections and Beijing Konre (formally Beijing Interface) assisted Kusters Engineering in setting up a project in China to provide an environmental friendly technology for the disintegration of used banknotes.
KV Connections established the Chinese contacts, conducted a feasibility study and organized funding for the project through Senter, a division of the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs as well as ORET funding from a Dutch Governmental Program. This project has resulted in multi-million dollar contracts for equipment and has a large spin-off for various other Dutch companies.
For Kusters Engineering this project also provided them a unique long-term position in China.
