KV Connections together with their counterparts Shandong North Fishery Co. (SNFC) and the China Aquatic Products Processing and Marketing Association (CAPPMA) cooperates to upgrade the quality of fish in China. By improving the quality of the fish as well as modernizing the sales of fish we encourage fair competition. KV Connections formed a consortium with Dutch parties that are leading worldwide in the fishery sector. The Chinese counterpart got the assignment from the Ministry of Agriculture to upgrade the fishery sector in China to a higher level with the following targets:
- to introduce the Dutch auction system;
- to have better quality food on the market;
- to improve the lifespan of food;
- from food safety point of view to enable track and trace and;
- to develop more international trade of fish, food and food products
In order to reach this level much has to been done in the Chinese fishery sector where Dutch players are seen as leading.
